Healed of Colon Cancer: Testimony of Sis. Jodie Mancera

Sis. Jodie Mancera at JMCIM Worship Service, Amoranto Stadium, Oct. 2011

In December 1994, just two weeks after Sister Jodie Mancera delivered her second child via CS, she was operated twice due to infected intestines. But even after her last confinement and surgery, her situation did not improve. She suffered from fevers, intense stomach pains day and night, and couldn’t move out bowel. Within weeks, she was again back to the hospital. From December 1994 to June 1995, she had had four major surgeries.

On her fourth surgery, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. Around this time, her beloved husband, Brother Joey Mancera, was already converted and was serving the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully in JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY.

According to Bro. Joey’s testimony, sometime between his bel. wife’s second or third surgery, he was so distraught about their situation – financially, emotionally, and spiritually – that he sank on his knees on the floor and cried out to God. He prayed and asked God where he must go to seek His face. He testifies that after his earnest prayer, he heard a voice – cool and powerful, and sounded like that of waterfalls. The voice told him to worship God in spirit and in truth in Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry, that there, he will find the true pastor that will feed him with knowledge and understanding, and where God’s power is manifested. The voice further said that He abhors worship of graven images and idols.

Without wasting time, Bro. Joey attended the worship service of JMCIM and received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and baptism in water in Jesus’ name. Instantly, he received healing of all his diseases – enlargement of the heart, ulcer, and hypertension. He was also completely changed. He forsook his vices such as alcohol and cigarettes.

Even before Sis. Jodie’s fourth surgery, Bro. Joey was already trying to share the Gospel to her and the many amazing testimonies of God’s healing in the Church, but Sis. Jodie was hardhearted and instead, openly persecuted the Church.

While sick and weak in the hospital after her fourth surgery, Sis. Jodie remained unchanged in her belief and told her bel. husband that she would get well and fully recover because she had complete medicines. It was at this point that Bro. Joey disclosed to her that according to the doctors, she had only four months to live.

Sis. Jodie continued to suffer from excruciating pain in her stomach. She spent the nights crying in pain. One night, she dreamed that she went to a church where she saw all the graven images and idols fallen on the floor, she was so terrified she ran and ran. Then she saw a door open and the name of JMCIM written inside with the Jesus Finest Generation Choir singing.

Finally, Sis. Jodie surrendered her life to the Lord and after her water baptism, she received complete healing of her disease. This was 16 years ago, and she and her bel. husband continue to serve the Lord faithfully to this day. Bro. Joey became a preacher of the Church.

Healing Miracles and Deliverance: Testimony of Bro. Boy Manguera

Bro. Boy Manguera testifying during JMCIM Sunday service at Amoranto Stadium, Quezon City, Phils., Oct. 2011.

Brother Boy Manguera, a preacher of the JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY, was in tears as he thanked and exalted the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in his latest testimony. He was weeping in awe, amazement, and deep gratitude as he related the recent miracle that happened to him.

At dawn of Monday (October 3), just after the victorious celebration of the 11th Mindanao Peace Mission Anniversary and Thanksgiving Crusade, Bro. Boy, together with the other preachers from around the country, was sitting on a chair inside our beloved Hon. Pastor Wilde E. Almeda’s tent on the stage of the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta.

Then without minding his surroundings, Bro. Boy leaned back not knowing that the place where he was sitting had no barrier except a curtain, and so suddenly, he was on a free-fall. He fell backwards from a height of more or less ten feet and landed on the concrete floor head first.

He testifies that although the impact was so strong, he didn’t feel anything. He sustained a large gash on his head from which copious amount of blood spurted. But all the preachers did not delay in rushing to where he was lying and all-together prayed in faith with power and authority. After the prayer, the flow of blood instantly stopped and Bro. Boy was brought to a clinic where his wound was sewed up. Miraculously, he was well after his horrifying fall. Halleluiah!

Bro. Boy used to live in depravity, going out with evildoers and wallowing in vices. Because of this, he acquired sicknesses and diseases such as weak lungs and acute ulcer. He had no hope of a new life, but one day in 1986, he found the Lord Jesus Christ in a crusade of the Jesus Miracle Crusade Int’l. Ministry. That day, he received the Lord Jesus in his life as his Lord and Savior, was baptized in water in His name, and surrendered his life to Him.

His life was completely changed and all his diseases were healed. He became a preacher of the Church, and together with his whole family and relatives  who were also saved later, pioneered the outreach in Lemery, Batangas. Their hard, miserable life before was blessed abundantly by the Lord.

In 2007, Bro. Boy’s faith was tested when he became sick of gallstones. He could no longer eat and so, he lost a lot of weight. He also couldn’t sleep for almost three months. The doctor who diagnosed him prescribed many medicines that he must take daily and advised that he must undergo immediate surgery. He was warned that if he wasn’t operated on immediately, he might die in just four months or become comatose.

But Bro. Boy refused surgery and also didn’t buy any of the medicines. He knew that his sickness was just “a reminder” from the Lord for he had been contemplating giving up preaching. He knew his plan wasn’t the will of God.

He sought counsel from the house of our beloved Hon. Pastor Wilde E. Almeda and he was told that he was called to preach and should never turn his back from God’s holy calling. Right then and there, Bro. Boy vowed to the Lord that he would go back to preach the Gospel with boldness. Instantly, he felt relief and was able to eat well and sleep soundly. He obtained complete healing without surgery or medicines!

Halleluiah! To God be the glory!

To my beloved brethren-in-Christ, I included the recorded Tagalog testimony of Bro. Boy Manguera below. I pray that you will share it with others also.

From Suffering to Rejoicing: The Amazing Testimony of Bro. Arvin Arica

Bro. Arvin Arica at Amoranto Stadium, Quezon City, Phils., Sept. 2011.

By the amazing grace of our mighty God, Minister of Mercy is celebrating its 1st anniversary! Halleluiah! And to commemorate the occasion, I’m posting this wonderful testimony about God’s deliverance and healing.

Brother Arvin Arica received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in Catarman, Northern Samar in 2001. Before this, he was wasting away his life by daily dose of liquor and smoking 4 packs or more of cigarettes. He testifies that he couldn’t go through a day without indulging in his vices.

He also used to suffer from arthritis, asthma, and insomnia. For many years, these three diseases made him suffer greatly. But all these were taken away by the Lord Jesus and he was completely healed of them. He also forsook all his vices and his life was totally changed. He found the peace that he had been looking.

But on the same year, aside from his healing and new life, Bro. Arvin would further see the wondrous and mighty acts of God. Later after he was saved, he was accidentally electrocuted by 33,000 volts and he died on-the-spot. This happened in Tacloban, Leyte. His head, hands, stomach, and legs were badly burned. There was a big hole in his stomach that looked like it has been shot by a shotgun caused by the massive electric current that coursed through his body.

He testifies that upon his death, he went to heaven and he saw the Lord Jesus Christ. He fell on his knees before the Lord and asked His forgiveness. Weeping, he begged the Lord to let him go back. In response, the Lord squeezed his heart and he wept the more. But he pleaded with Him, reasoning out that his death would not give glory to God considering that his loved ones were still unsaved. And the Lord Jesus had mercy upon him and He let him go back.

When his spirit entered his lifeless body in the hospital, the doctors were preparing to bring him to the morgue. But he opened his eyes and at the same time, he shouted Halleluiah! Praise the Lord! three times to the doctors’ and nurses’ utter astonishment. They were so startled that their initial reaction was to run away from him. And they shouted, “Ang patay nabuhay!” (The dead lives!)

One doctor started questioning him to ascertain his mental state. The doctor said that a person who has been massively electrocuted and died for several minutes often sustains brain damage. But Bro. Arvin was able to answer all the questions correctly proving that he was mentally well.

The doctors couldn’t help saying that it was a miracle that he was alive. He was given medicines but he refused to take them, declaring that God alone would heal him, and he fasted instead. The doctors were exasperated at this so they made him sign a waiver. After only three days in the hospital, and in which he also spent fasting, he was discharged.

He left the hospital unable to walk. While he recuperated at home in a wheelchair, unable to move his legs and hands, he prayed and wept to the Lord, begging Him to heal him and make him stand and walk again. After two weeks, he received answer to his prayers and he regained the use of his legs.

Everyday, he washed and cleaned his open wounds with only water and alcohol, and covered them with fresh bandage. Looking at him suffer from his wounds, Bro. Arvin’s father told him that if he were the one in his place, he would rather die. But Bro. Arvin continued to humble himself before the Lord and completely trust in Him, praying and crying out to Him to heal his wounds.

A sister-in-Christ advised him to pour coconut oil into his wounds and he did. One Sunday afternoon while walking home after attending worship service, he felt stinging pain in his wounds. When he looked, maggots had swarmed his wounds and they were eating up his flesh. He wept helplessly and wanted to run to escape all the suffering, but he couldn’t, for he had not fully recovered his strength.

He bravely poured alcohol liberally into his wounds while shouting praises to God, and the maggots were killed by it, and he picked them one by one.

His mother advised him to bathe in the sea so that his wounds would dry up, and he did. But afterwards, sand filled his wounds and it took two months to completely remove it.

In all his suffering, Bro. Arvin remained faithful to the Lord, praying, fasting, praising, and attending worship services regularly. He believed and completely trusted that the Lord Jesus would turn his suffering into rejoicing and a glorious testimony of God’s power and great mercy.

After 7 months, Bro. Arvin received total healing of his wounds and complete recovery of his strength, and God blessed him with a good job that he had desired and fervently prayed for.

Halleluiah! To God be the glory!

A New Life

Bro. Willy Navea at Amoranto Stadium, June 2011.

Before He came to know the Lord, Bro. Willy Navea lived in worldly pleasures, indulging in many vices like alcohol and cigarettes. He was such a hard drinker and chain smoker that he developed many diseases, two of which were liver and lung diseases.

He was in and out of hospitals, but his diseases progressed and he became very weak and lost a lot of weight. He couldn’t work anymore, so he had to quit his job. Also, the doctors had given up on him. He was only 35 years old, and he was dying.

Bro. Willy knew he hadn’t much time to live. He decided to go home to Bicol province because he was thinking that the funeral expenses were so expensive in Manila and he and his wife couldn’t afford it. So, he left his wife (who was working in Manila)  and traveled to their hometown.

Bro. Willy was desperate. He knew he was going to die but he wasn’t ready. He thought he was too young. The thought of facing death tormented him.

When he arrived in their home in Bicol after a long travel, he found out that the worship service of JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY was being held in their house.

As it turned out, the Gospel was preached to him and he readily received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in water in His name.

He poured out all his hope and faith to the Lord. He continued to serve Him. It didn’t take long that he got completely healed and he recovered. He testifies that his friend, who also had liver disease, but didn’t choose to accept the Lord Jesus’ offer of salvation and healing, died in just a few weeks.

Bro. Willy received new life from the Lord almost two decades ago. He continues to serve the Lord fervently to this day.

Halleluia! To God be the glory!

A Restored Life: The Testimony of Bro. Eric Fajardo

Bro. SPO1 Eric Fajardo at the JMCIM worship service, Amoranto Stadium, April, 2011.

Before he came to know the Lord Jesus Christ, Brother SPO1 Eric Fajardo was a corrupt policeman. He testifies that he was involved in all kinds of evil deeds. He put up many kinds of gambling in their town, including jueteng and cockfighting. His townmates were too afraid and powerless to stop him, for he was, indeed, very powerful in their place. He also indulged in many worldly pleasures and lived like there was no end to his luck.

But one day, tragedy struck. He was invited to a town celebration where he was the guest of honor. He wanted his family to witness this important event so he brought along his wife and child. He thought it was another night of feasting where he would be honored. But before he could set foot on stage, the place was bombed and the crowd was fired at indiscriminately. When the smoke had subsided and Bro. Eric could see clearly, he saw his wife and child sprawled on the ground, blooded and lifeless.

The world came crashing down on him. In one day, the people dearest to him were taken away from him leaving only a deep hatred in his heart and a great desire to exact revenge to the perpetrators.

With fire and determination burning in his soul, he forsook all and traveled to Manila to hunt down the people responsible for the deaths of his family. But while he searched, it was the Lord Jesus that he found, or to put it more accurately, Jesus found him.

Bro. Eric was invited to the worship service of the JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY. He accepted the invitation and gladly went, for while he lusted for revenge, he also desperately wanted peace in his life.

Bro. Eric, lost, hurting, and vengeful, was finally captured by the Lord as he dropped to his knees and humbled himself to Him. For the first time in his life, he worshiped Him in truth and wept unabashedly, tears pouring out freely. He finally felt all the burden, hatred, and grief lifted up. His burning anger at the killers of his wife and child and the deep sorrow he carried were taken away by the merciful Savior and peace slowly crept into his heart. His soul has finally found rest.

Bro. Eric accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in water in His name.

He forsook all his plans for revenge and began to walk with the Lord and live a new life.

Before this, he also used to suffer from acute stomach ulcer and enlargement of the heart because of his many vices. But when he trusted completely in the Lord and surrendered his life to Him – vowing that he will serve Him all his life – he was totally healed of these diseases.

Later on, he prayed to the Lord to give him a new wife, someone he could spend the rest of his life with. The Lord answered his prayer and also blessed them with a child.

Now, Bro. Eric has a whole new life. He is gladly serving the Lord with his family. God restored all he had lost, and more.

Halleluia! To God be the glory!

The Mermaid: The Story and Testimony of Bro. Jimmy Tubis

Bro. Jimmy Tubis at the worship service of San Pedro, Laguna Outreach, February 2011.

Bro. Jimmy grew up being a sissy. At age 12, all his friends were girls. As he grew older, he became an outright gay. He loved going out at nights and reveling in disco houses with his gay friends. He learned to smoke marijuana and later on became a pimp in a “beerhouse”. Every night, he went out to do this job and at the same time to indulge in his vices.

One night, he joined a beauty contest for gays in an adjacent town. After the pageant, he and his gay friends went to a disco house to celebrate. It so happened that at the same night, his “kuya” (older brother) and his friends went out, too, and entered the same disco house.

Bro. Jimmy couldn’t be recognized for he was wearing a complete girl ensemble from head to toe. It didn’t take long and his older brother (not recognizing him at all) and his friends came to their table and they asked Bro. Jimmy’s friends (who were all wearing girl’s clothing complete with makeup) to dance, leaving Bro. Jimmy and his older brother at the table. Later on, his “kuya” asked him to dance, too.

They “got to know each other”. Bro. Jimmy’s name was Shellylou, a name he often used when joining gay pageants. Unfortunately, his older brother “fell in love” with Shellylou.

The next morning, Bro. Jimmy asked his brother about his night in town, and his brother told him about meeting a “girl” named Shellylou and how he had fallen for “her” and he was going to look for “her” house.

Too scared to let the problem become worse, Bro. Jimmy confessed to his “kuya” that he was Shellylou. His “kuya” was so angry he beat Bro. Jimmy black and blue, pouring out all his fury and frustration why his younger brother became hopelessly gay.

Bro. Jimmy continued to go out every night, returning home only at the break of day. When he arrived home one morning, his father told him to fetch water and fill up the drum, which he did. When the drum was full, his father submerged him into the water and after a few moments, he lifted up Bro. Jimmy’s head and asked him whether he was a girl or a boy. Bro Jimmy answered that he was a girl (for that was what he really felt). Again, his father submerged him into the water for a longer time and when he lifted up his head, he asked the same question, and Bro. Jimmy answered the same. On the third time, his father was trying to drown him just to make him be a man. When he lifted Bro. Jimmy’s head, he asked the same question, “Lalake ka ba o babae? (Are you a girl or a boy?)”, to which Bro. Jimmy answered, “Sirena! (mermaid!)”

His father told him to leave their house. They couldn’t accept him as he was.

Bro. Jimmy left their home. This was in 1983. He boarded a ship bound for Manila (their family lived in Visayas) although he didn’t have money. He pleaded to the ship’s officer and he was allowed to sail even without a ticket, but he had to endure the trip without food.

Bro. Jimmy tried to look for their relatives in Manila. Later on, he applied as a nanny (for he was still wearing girl’s clothes and long hair) to a Christian family. When the mother found out that he was actually a boy, instead of dismissing him, she brought him to the worship service of the JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY.

Bro. Jimmy accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in His name.

Slowly, Bro. Jimmy’s life changed.

After four years, he and his “kuya” (brother) met again in 1987, and that was during the JMCIM crusade in Luneta Park, Manila. His “kuya” was surprised to see him changed, decently clothed as a man. He and his older brother joyfully reconciled.

Later on, Bro. Jimmy and his father also reconciled, forgiving each other for what each had done.

Bro. Jimmy became a pastoral worker of JMCIM and he continues to serve the Lord faithfully to this day.

Halleluia! To God be the glory!

God Raised Her Son

Sis. Alona Giducos testifying at the pulpit during the JMCIM 36th Church Anniversary, Feb. 13, 2011

In 1995, Sis. Alona Giducos was desperate. She had separated from her husband and she and her husband had divided their four children equally between them. She didn’t want it to end up like that, but there wasn’t anything she could do to save their marriage. Her husband was a drug addict and a drunkard.

She was so unhappy with her life, terribly missing her two children that were with her husband. Together with her two children that were with her, she decided to go home to Olongapo City to her mother’s house.

There she learned that her mother had been saved. Her mother had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in her life and was faithfully serving Him. She shared the Gospel to Sis. Alona and invited her to the worship service of the JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY.

Sis. Alona was desperately looking for peace in her life, she hoped that this would be the answer to her prayers. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in her life as her Lord and Savior and later on, was baptized in water in His name.

Immediately, Sis. Alona received the precious peace that she had been desiring. After a month of fervently attending worship services, she and her husband reconciled and their family was restored. Her husband’s life was changed completely and their whole family began to serve the Lord faithfully.

The following year, Sis. Alona conceived and gave birth to their fifth child, a son she named Isaac. She didn’t know then that God would use this child to show her His great miracles.

A month after baby Isaac turned one-year-old, he got sick of measles. Having had no vaccine, the baby suffered from the illness greatly. For three weeks he had fever and convulsions. Sis. Alona prayed hard everyday, laying her hands on him every after praise and prayer, but the child wasn’t getting better.

One day after prayer, Sis. Alona decided to bring her child to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center. The doctors there acted quickly to save Isaac, for his eyes had rolled back in his head and he was unmoving. They tried hard to revive him, but he didn’t make any movement or showed any reaction.

Sis. Alona prayed and surendered everything to the Lord. She vowed that she would continue to serve Him faithfully no matter what happens to her son. It was then that her child made a movement and began to breathe normally.

Because of this, the doctors in the hospital, and even the janitors, called Isaac a “miracle baby”, for so he really was.

But after several neurological tests, the doctors found out that Isaac had sustained severe brain damage due to his prolonged fever. Because of this, he became blind (totally no vision), deaf (and mute because of this) and lame. He became a vegetable. He also forgot how to suck his milk bottle. He was fed in the hospital via a feeding tube.

Sis. Alona didn’t know what to do, she was crying in helplessness. (During all this time, her beloved husband and their other four grown children continued to serve the Lord, diligently attending services and praying and begging Him to heal Isaac).

Sis. Alona remembered all the teachings of the beloved Honorable Pastor, Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda, to have FULL FAITH in the Lord and never doubt. The following mid-week service, she attended service and brought with her a picture of Isaac. She approached the beloved Hon. Pastor Wilde E. Almeda and he prayed over Isaac’s picture.

The next day, while she was praying beside Isaac’s bed in the hospital, she heard a voice say, “Your sons’ brain damage has been healed.”

And so it was, that Isaac began to respond and to feed on his milk bottle. When they left the hospital, he was still blind, deaf and lame, but it didn’t take long and he gradually turned back to normal and fully recovered – his vision, speech, hearing and walking.

When Isaac was a little older, he joined the Children’s Choir and sang for the Lord for many years. Now he’s fifteen-years-old and has no traces of his childhood illness whatsoever.

Sis. Alona and her whole family continue to serve the Lord faithfully to this day.

Halleluia! To God be the glory!
