Healed of Kidney Disease: The Testimony of Bro. Roger Ibera

The testimony of Bro. Roger Ibera is one that girds up your faith in the Word: Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. (Matthew 10:29, emphasis mine).

Up to 1999, Bro. Roger had lived his life indulging in worldly pleasures and vices. He didn’t have control with his body, giving in to his fleshly desires. He was obese and later on acquired many diseases, like poor eyesight, heart disease, and worst of all, kidney disease.

He had been to different hospitals in Metro Manila, including The Philippine Heart Center. In desperation, he also resorted to different quack doctors, subjecting himself to their dark rituals. But in the end, he found himself at National Kidney Institute where he would be in and out of for 1 1/2 years. During this time, he had become skin and bones from the diseases he was suffering from.

In one of his confinements at National Kidney Institute, he stayed in a semi-private room and he witnessed how each one of his roommates would leave the room dead. He became depressed and hopeless.

One day in the hospital, he temporarily lost his vision and his memory. He didn’t know who he was and he could only see white images. When his sight and memory returned, he wrote to his family in the province, informing them of his whereabouts and situation. All that time, he was alone in the hospital. He was given mats upon mats of various drugs but he wasn’t getting better.

One Saturday, while alone in his room at National Kidney Institute, he looked out the window to the waiting area and saw a preacher sharing the Gospel to the people there. While he was observing through the window, the preacher looked up and their eyes met. The preacher approached the window and talked to him.

Bro. Roger learned that he was a preacher from Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry. He told him his situation, that he was going to undergo a much-needed surgery in a few days hence. The beloved preacher shared to him the Gospel of salvation and invited him to attend the worship service at Cuneta Astrodome.

The next day being a Sunday, Bro. Roger rose up at dawn and busied himself to prepare to escape and go to the worship service. He removed everything that was attached to his body, quietly left his hospital room, hailed a taxi, and off he went to Cuneta Astrodome, full of hope for healing and deliverance at last.

Since it was still dark, he waited outside. Soon, the beloved brethren arrived and streamed into the venue and he observed how the sisters were clothed modestly without the worldly adornment of jewelries and he heard how they spoke about their pastor with respect and high regard. He was in awe.

When the congregational singing began, he couldn’t explain the great relief that he felt in his body. And when the beloved Jesus Finest Generation Choir sang, he was lifted up in the spirit and he felt like he was floating in the clouds!

When altar call came, he was so in a hurry to reach the front that he bounded down the bleachers. He received the Lord Jesus Christ gladly and was baptized in water in His name.

He didn’t go back to the hospital. The next morning when he went to the toilet to urinate, two large stones came out. He took them and brought them to National Kidney Institute and showed them to his doctor. He testified to the doctor how he received salvation and healing in Jesus’ name.

When he continued to attend worship services and serve and love the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully, he received complete healing of all his diseases. That has been 22 years ago and Bro. Roger continues to live in health and wellness by the grace of God.

Miraculous Healing from Gallstones

Bro. Rommel Domantay was saved years ago through the healing and salvation of her beloved mother who was suffering from kidney disease. Their family had spent a lot on numerous hospitalizations and medications for his mother hoping she would be cured. But they were disappointed; they did not receive the healing that they were looking for.

One day, a sounding team for a spiritual and healing crusade by the JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY passed by their place in Pangasinan. They were invited to the crusade and Bro. Rommel’s mother was more than eager to go. As soon as his mother entered the gate to the crusade, she felt like she was doused all over with very cold water. They told her it was the presence of the Holy Spirit welcoming her. During that crusade, Bro. Rommel’s ailing mother received healing instantly and miraculously in the name of Jesus!

Then two years ago, Bro. Rommel himself fell ill. He was diagnosed to have gallbladder stones. He lost his appetite and began to lose weight. When he had gallbladder attack, he writhed in pain and was unable to eat or drink. Three hospitals and three specialists that he went to pronounced the same finding and opinion: Bro. Rommel needed an immediate surgery. He had three large gallstones and they had scattered in his gallbladder. Bro. Rommel was desperate but he held on to his faith that the Lord Jesus Christ would heal him, just as he had witnessed her beloved mother miraculously healed.

He went to the fasting house to offer prayer with fasting. While there, he was counselled by a preacher to extend his fasting to 10 days. By the grace of God, Bro. Rommel submitted himself to 10-day fasting, and at the end of it, he received the healing he desperately sought for. His gallstones dissolved and disappeared miraculously without surgery or medication.

“However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Mat. 17:21)

The power of prayer with fasting has not waned through the ages. Even in this ultra-modern world, when a Christ believer and follower in JMCIM has a strong faith to be healed in Jesus’ name and through the prayers of the beloved Hon. Pastor Wilde Almeda – he or she will receive the healing he or she seeks for!

Mercifully Healed

Over 20 years ago, Sis. Amy Manalansan had surgery in her right kidney. But after this, a lump developed under her arm. Though she took medications for her ailments, she became weaker every day.

Her family decided to sell a property so she could go to Europe and find healing there. So, she traveled to Vatican City, collecting water from the fountain there believing this would heal her. She bathed in the “holy waters” in France, because she had heard that these waters could heal.

After she came back from her travels, bringing with her bottles of “holy water” that she took from those foreign lands, she found out that her disease had spread to her other kidney and needed immediate surgery. The lump under her arm, which did not disappear after her travels, was also removed though surgery.

After the lump was removed, another one developed, and it was bigger than the first. She took medications to dissolve this, but instead, she developed ulcer in the process. When she moved out, there was fresh blood in her stool.

After the two surgeries that she had on her kidneys, her condition did not improve: she still couldn’t urinate normally. With the ulcer that added to her suffering, Sis. Amy developed insomnia. And with this, she also had to take pills to be able to sleep.

With kidneys that weren’t functioning well, a big lump under her arm after the first surgery, ulcer and insomnia – her doctors couldn’t assure her of healing.

One day, just barely two months after her surgery under her arm, she was running a high fever, and she was feeling pain from her kidneys, stomach and armpit all at the same time. No longer able to endure all the pain and suffering, she threw herself on the bedroom floor and begged God to end her life. But she had one last request: that God would show her the true Chruch where she could really know Him and serve Him with the remaining days of her life. She was crying profusely.

After this, she padded to their living room and lay on the couch. Then she heard a whisper telling her to open the TV, which she did without hesitation. The TV program of the JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY came to view. She felt a rush of cold wind enveloped her and she wondered, so she sat and began to listen to the testimonies of healing and lives changed.

She noticed that she was sitting upright for a long time, and felt relief spreading all over her body. Her fever left and all her pains slowly subsided until she couldn’t feel any pain or discomfort anymore.

When the Jesus’ Finest Generation Choir began to sing, she felt like she was floating in her seat. She also saw that the choir seemed to float in the air. She was sobbing uncontrollably all this time. She felt that she had been healed from all her diseases.

In her exceeding gladness, she stood to embrace the TV, wondering what had happened to her.

Sis. Amy received Jesus Christ in her life, was baptized in water in His name and served Him faithfully in JMCIM, and continue to do so to this day. It has been 20 years that she received complete healing of all her diseases and had not tasted a single medicine ever since.
